Editorial Policy

TrueCompare's comparison rankings are based purely on total price (listed price plus delivery charge minus verified discount), availability, and data freshness. No seller can pay to move up in our default price ranking.

How products are added

Products enter our database either through admin verification of a seller's product page, or when a visitor pastes a seller URL for a live, one-time comparison.

How specifications are written

Specification tables are extracted from structured data and publicly visible spec tables on seller pages, then normalized into a common format. Product descriptions are written or summarized in our own words — we do not copy seller descriptions verbatim.

Corrections

Every comparison page has a "Report incorrect data" link. Reports are reviewed by our admin team and corrected listings are re-verified before republishing.
